Jonathan Huck, Real Estate Director
Jonathan joined the Northside Leadership Conference in May 2006 as a Project Manager in Residential Development after spending seven months volunteering and interning in the Real Estate Department. Jonathan earned certification as a Housing Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council in 2008 and has a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2012, Jon became Real Estate Director and has more projects in production than any other local CDC.
Costas Connors, Project Manager
Costas is a recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Urban Studies with a minor in Historic Preservation. He’s a member of the Grand Theater Restoration Project in his hometown of Steubenville, OH, and a licensed real estate agent. Costas also decided to purchase a starter home in the West End in lieu of paying rent while at Pitt.
Lauren Belayneh, Project Assistant
Lauren attended the University of Pittsburgh. She studied Historic Preservation and Urban Planning, and earned a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She is from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and while living in the area, worked for the U.S. House of Representatives and the National Institute of Drug Abuse. During her time in Pittsburgh, she worked for the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) as a surveyor for a city-wide data collection involving evaluating overall building condition and accessing the quality of the City of Pittsburgh's historic building stock.
Musumbi Martin, Project Assistant
Musumbi is a Senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Linguistics and Urban Studies. Having helped manage family-owned properties in Kenya and France, Musumbi is currently working on a path into graduate studies in Urban Planning.
John Foster, Intern
John is a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Urban Studies and Economics. He is from Penn Tan, New York and spent the last two summers working at Fox Run Vineyards as a tasting room server. During his time in Pittsburgh, he has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, completed a volunteer outreach internship with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, and is an avid member of the Real Estate Association at Pitt.
